Springtime in the Rockies...
Appropriately enough, on the "Butterfly Trail" Which is what I call this hike because every time I am there, I am surrounded by butterflies the entire trip, has "Butterfly Flowers" Can anyone out there tell me what this flower is? I cannot find it in my Audubon book!

My friend Annie Bergland just told me that this is "Dutchman's Breeches", a member of the Bleeding Heart Family. (Dicentra Something or other) She said she can find the exact Latin name for you if you need it! Isn't she amazing?
Dutchman's Britches. Yup. Mom is right. It's also to be found covering the hill behind the cabin in WV where I stayed this weekend. I took pictures to prove it!
